Using the service

TranscriptWave provides tools for retrieving accessible caption tracks from public YouTube videos. You may use the service only for lawful purposes and must not attempt to bypass rate limits, disrupt the service, probe private systems, or automate abusive request volumes.

Source content and permissions

You are responsible for the URLs you submit and for how you use downloaded transcripts or subtitles. Availability through this tool does not transfer copyright or grant permission to republish a video's content. Verify quotations, attribute sources, and comply with YouTube's terms and applicable law.

Availability and accuracy

The service depends on third-party caption and metadata systems. Videos, languages, and captions may be unavailable, incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. The tool does not currently transcribe videos that lack accessible captions, and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.

No warranties

The service is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, TranscriptWave is not liable for losses resulting from use of the service or reliance on transcript output.

Changes

We may change, limit, or discontinue features and update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
